Before service begins at 3:30pm, we encourage a time of individual prayer, asking the Lord to prepare our hearts for worship, for all arrive with hearts filled with distractions. For we not only want to be physically present, but available to the Lord in every other way, asking the Spirit to remove any obstacles that would prevent us from being available to Jesus.

Our Sunday service typically lasts about 90 minutes. We start and end with a time of praise, then in between you’ll hear a message as well as participate in a time of communion.

We mainly offer expository Bible preaching, which is a method of preaching that focuses on explaining and applying a specific passage of Scripture, verse by verse, in its original context. We aim to faithfully communicate the intended meaning of the biblical text, allowing the structure and content of the passage to shape the sermon’s main points and sub-points. By working through books of the Bible, expository preaching ensures that the full counsel of God is proclaimed, helping to understand and apply the entirety of Scripture to our lives. On occasion, we have found the need for topical preaching, but we have made it a point to offer a consistent exposition of the text of the Bible, verse by verse, book by book.

We believe the best place for a child to learn about the Bible is in the gathered assembly and through the regular preaching and teaching ministry of the church and within the home. We like having children in our service and have grown accustomed to their presence. Additionally, the children grow accustomed to being a part of the worship experience, which plays a significant factor in their assimilation into church later in life after leaving home. Children in the service has been a normal practice in church history.

One of the biggest distinctions of a Family Integrated Church is the absence of age-graded ministries. We teach one Sunday school for all ages. Our teaching ensures that it is clear enough for the youngest believers and challenging enough for those who are mature in the faith.

We offer communion at the end of each of our Sunday service, allowing every person to come to the communion table, as they are ready, to take the bread and the cup back to their seat. This is a weekly opportunity to recalibrate our lives to Jesus as we remember Christ’s death, resurrection, and future coming.

Every other Sunday we enjoy a home-cooked meal following the service and we invite you to stay and fellowship with us. No need to bring anything but just your appetite and a heart to fellowship with others. We have a ministry of those who love to cook and the idea of providing an opportunity to break bread with others that fosters relationships.

We have no dress code for our service. We desire you to feel welcome and invited into our community, respectably dressed in the attire you are most comfortable in.

This pledge is simply a tool to remind us of the rightful priority of the Word of God in our lives, desiring to be people whose identity and mission is formed by God’s Holy Word.
BIBLE PLEDGE
I pledge allegiance to the Bible
God’s Holy Word.
I will make it a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.
I will store Your word in my heart
that I might not sin against God. -
Nursing moms can go to the nursing mother’s room in the sanctuary. The sermon will be broadcast into that space. Capacity is limited.

There’s no designated time of offering during our service, no basket passed, so we may avoid any giving under compulsion or reluctantly. Instead there is an offertory box at the back of the sanctuary in which those that have decided in their heart of what to give, may do so cheerfully at any time that is convenient.
