COMMUNION
Every Sunday as a focal point of our worship service, we relish the opportunity to participate in communion, for as often as we eat this bread and drink the cup, we proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. As we observe communion together, may we be refreshed by Jesus being reminded about our gift of free grace. Jesus invites us to come to him in communion. All who are thirsty, come! All who are weak and wounded, come! All who are aware of their sin and need of grace, come!
FAMILY INTEGRATED
We believe the best place for a child to learn about the Bible is in the gathered assembly and through the regular preaching and teaching ministry of the church and within the home. We like having children in our service and have grown accustomed to their presence. Additionally, the children grow accustomed to being a part of the worship experience. Children in the service has been a normal practice in church history.
SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY
As we devote ourselves to the truth of God’s Word, our Sunday service Bible study is typically expository teaching, verse by verse, book by book, which focuses on explaining and applying a specific passage of Scripture in its original context. And don’t be surprised if we also pause within our teaching time in order to have a time of congregational participatory discussion so that together we can deepen our understanding of how God’s truth applies to our lives.
HOMECOOKED MEAL
We devote ourselves to the fellowship and the enjoyment of having a meal together. The early church often gathered for meals during their times of worship. It is a beautiful way to connect with others. Every other Sunday, right after church, we extend a warm invitation for you to stay and please enjoy a homecooked meal with us. No need to bring anything but just an appetite and a heart to fellowship.
